Hi there — I’m Heather Kaiser!
I’ve spent more than 25 years in education, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that technology isn’t here to replace great teaching — it’s here to unlock possibilities. My journey with edtech actually started long before most classrooms had Wi-Fi. Back in the ‘90s, I was using dial-up to connect with students, offering homework help online before "remote learning" was even a buzzword.
Since then, I’ve worn a lot of hats: classroom teacher, curriculum writer, database designer, web-based solution builder — all while raising my family and continuing my own education. These days, my kids are grown, but I’m still deeply connected to the classroom as an online 5th-grade teacher and as an adjunct professor, teaching future educators how to bring instructional technology to life, both at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Through Kaiser Tech Unlimited, I help teachers and schools break down the barriers that often make educational technology feel overwhelming. And if you’re curious about practical strategies, simple tools, and real classroom solutions, I share even more over on my Substack, EdTech Unlocked — where I offer quick tips and conversations designed for real teachers, not tech experts.
So whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up, welcome to the community. Let’s unlock the power of edtech together.
